Gravton Quanta electric bike design may seem similar to conventional mopeds but the quanta packs some interesting bits underneath. Gravton quanta is built on a rib cage chassis that can accommodate two battery packs with a total claimed range of 320km. Also, Gravton quanta is designed for rural and urban India.

Quanta bike is very focused on being a sustainable mobility solution suited for Indian roads, Quanta’s chassis geometry and fine-tuned suspension ease maneuverability in city traffic, and on unpaved road conditions.

Gravton, a Hyderabad-based startup, has launched Gravton Quanta electric moped in India. This made-in-India electric moped carries an introductory III. This is one of the few e-mopeds in India and looks to take over petrol-powered offerings in the segment.

Display and Connectivity System

From a comfort perspective, the Gravton Quanta has a digital Console type and LCD, and a push-button start type. It has adjustable foot stress. It will give you a digital speedometer and odometer. Also it has an under-seat and front-type storage box.

Also, it has some features of a smart connectivity system like you can connect with an app via Bluetooth and in this app you can see the bike’s range, charging station, location mapping, etc. Apart from this the app will also give you the facility of a remote lock and unlock feature.

Brakes, Wheels and Suspension

The Gravton Quanta is suspended on a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers and gets 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. The braking system is equipped via discs at both ends with CBS as standard. Further, it has a loading capacity of up to 300 kgs.

Battery, Range and Motor

The Gravton Quanta is powered by a 3kW BLDC hub Motor linked to a 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It is built on a rib cage chassis that can accommodate two battery packs with a total claimed range of 320km and a top speed of up to 70km.

The e-moped can cover up to 150 km using a single battery. Meanwhile, it takes 90 minutes to charge completely using a fast charger and three hours using a conventional one.

Warranties on Gravton Quanta

The Gravton Quanta gives you 5 years of battery warranty and 3 years of Motor warranty (whichever is earlier) with a 1-year warranty for the controller. Typically runs around 6000-8000 km a year, so chances are that it won’t need a replacement for 6-7 years.
