The features are a Remote keyless system, a Pass switch, Passenger Footrest, Smart Key, Parking Assistance, Fast charging, Riding modes, and automatic transmission. Benling Aura electric scooter has a DISC brake at the front and a DRUM brake at the rear end of the wheel. Furthermore, It is managed by telescopic suspension at the front and rear ends.

Range and Speed of Benling Aura 

The ARAI has claimed it can travel a riding range of 120 km on a single charge in Eco mode with a top speed of 60 kmph. But multiple aura owners with whom our team spoke reported a 100 km riding range of aura. It has also available with 4 modes in speed. The first mode gives 38 kmph, in the second mode 51 kmph, in the third mode, it gives 65 kmph, and in the fourth mode, it gives 80 kmph per Aura owner.

Battery and Charging details 

Aura comes with a 72V/40Ah lithium-ion detachable battery. Benling India provides a 72V/10AS fast, portable charger that can charge the battery from 0 to 100 within 4 hours. You can charge it with 6a.

This scooter comes with a digital meter in which you get to know the status of the battery. Also, it has a speedometer which gives speed information. A trip meter also informs how many kilometers your scooter has covered.

Subsidies and Tax exemption on Benling Aura

Centre Government: 

Aura has a 2500w BLDC motor. The central government has offered a subsidy of Rs 15,000 per kWh battery capacity (to a maximum of 40 percent of the vehicle cost) through the Hybrid and Electric vehicles (FAME-II) scheme. But this subsidy is included with the ex-showroom price of aura.

State Government 

Subsidies will be directly transferred to your bank account. That means first. You have to pay the on-road price. After that, you will have to submit documents and bank details for the subsidy. Whatever state government subsidy will be there will be credited to your bank account after a few days. 

License, Registration, and Insurance

Benling Aura requires a license, registration, and third-party insurance because it comes under a high-speed electric scooter. It has a power of 2500W and a speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour.

1. The company provides 3 years warranty on a lithium-ion battery pack after purchasing a benling aura electric scooter. The battery life will be 6 years as per the company.

2. Benling Aura has 2 years warranty on BLDC Hub Motor. 

3. It also has only a 1-year warranty that is for a non-fast charger.

4. Benling Aura electric scooter has a 1.5-year warranty on the controller.
