Ola S1 Pro electric scooter is a high speed scooter. This scooter is coming from an Indian startup, "Ola electric". The features you can look up to in Ola S1 are Find My Scooter, Reverse mode, Stand Alarmed, DRLs (Daytime running lights), Mobile App Connectivity, GPS & Navigation, Central locking system, Artificial sound, Parking Assist, and Hill Assist.

Further to this, you get Anti-Theft System, Voice assistance, Geo-fencing, and a Start/Stop button. Also, there is a huge boot space of 38 ltr in which you can keep two Helmets easily.

S1 pro has a combined braking system (CBS) for better handling braking duties and a safe ride on the road, Hydraulic DISC Brake (at both ends), an LED headlamp, and an LED tail lamp.

This comes with Aluminium Alloy, Single Fork suspension in the front and Mono-shock suspension in the back, Geo-Fencing, Limp Home Mode, and Get Home Mode. Apart from that, this electric scooter has the flexibility to maintain the same speed over the whole journey.

Range and Speed of S1 pro

The ARAI has claimed it can travel a riding range of around 181 km/ch on a single charge with a top speed of 115 km/h. Ola S1 Pro takes 3 seconds to accelerate at 0-40kmph and 5 seconds to peak at the speed of 0-60kmph. It has three drive modes Normal, Sports & Hyper.

Battery and Charging details 

The ola s1 comes with a 60v/30Ah lithium-ion battery. It gives you a 750w portable charger for home charging, and it takes 6 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge from Home charging. From the old hyper charger, you can charge 75km in just 18 minutes. 

Motor and Power of Ola S1 Pro

S1 Pro electric scooter generates around 5500W. It is driven with a 5.5 KW Mid Drive IPM Mounted Electric Motor.

Display and Screen details

Ola S1 Pro electric scooter comes with a waterproof display. It has a 7-inch instrumental cluster with a touch screen. Ola s1 aura is the 1st e-scooter which have Cruise control. This scooter comes with a digital meter in which you get to know the status of the battery with a Digital Odometer.

Also, it has a speedometer which gives speed information. Apart from this, a trip meter informs how many kilometers your scooter has covered.

Ola S1 Electric scooter is available all over South Indian states like Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Northern states like Delhi, Utter Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab. Also, East India states like Kolkata. Besides Central India states like Madhya Pradesh and Western India states like Mumbai and Pune.

Subsidies and Tax exemption on Ola S1 Pro

Centre Government

The central government has offered a subsidy of Rs 25,000 per kWh of battery capacity (to a maximum of 40 percent of the vehicle cost) through the Hybrid and Electric vehicles (FAME-II) scheme. But this subsidy is included with the ex-showroom price of Ola S1 Pro.

State Government

State government subsidy varies from state to state. The Government of Gujarat is giving you a subsidy of 20,000 rupees for this scooter. The subsidy in Delhi is between 14,900 to 19,850, while in Rajasthan, it is 10,000 Rs. The Maharashtra government will give you a subsidy of 5,000 Rs for buying Ola S1 Pro.

License, Registration, and Insurance

In a vehicle with a 25 mph top speed, whose motor power is 250 watts or less, you do not need a license and registration in such a vehicle. But as the top speed of the Ola S1 Pro is 119 km and motor power is 5.5 kW, in this scooter, you need a license, registration, and insurance.

Warranty on Ola electric scooter

1. Ola company gives 3years/unlimited kilometers warranty on the battery. 
2. S1 Pro has a 3 years/40000 km( whichever comes early) warranty on the Motor. 

Ola Electric Scooter Servicing:

The company provides 3 free servicing for an Ola S1 Pro. But you will have to get the service done on time. You cannot skip that date given to you by the service center. If not received, do so on the given date, and some parts get damaged under warranty. Then you will not be able to claim the warranty.
