Ather 450S is available at a starting price of Rs. 1,29,998 and goes upto Rs. 1,37,657 including subsidies. Ather 450S comes in two variants which is 450S Standard. The top variant is Ather 450X with the price of Rs. 1,37,657. The price difference between the two variants is almost Rs. 7,659. Latest addition of Ather 450 series is coming soon which is Ather 450S. Ather 450S is a base variant of 450X. In Ather 450S you will get same things like 450X. It’s expected to launch in India in 2023. The Ather 450S offers a compact Lightweight electric scooter which is not very expensive .Undoubtedly it is easy to ride being a low-speed electric scooter.
The riding range of this electric scooter is Ather 450S 115 km in single mode with the top speed of 80 km/h. It can take a speed of (0-40 km/h) in 3.3 s. it can charge the battery 0 to 100% in 5 hours 45 minutes through normal charger.
The scooter comes with grey theme display with fewer details with no touch screen. Firstly, it comes with a BLDC hub motor with power of 3.3 kW. Secondly, it has lithium ion battery with 2.4 kwh. The brand is not disclosed many more details yet.
Ather 450S will feature with LED headlight and tail light. It has the sporty attractive design as the 450X. Apart from this, it has a digital Odometer, Speedometer, Tachometer and regenerative breaking system. It has front pointed end and sharp rear side panels. It has expected that both ends will equip with disc brakes for smooth and comfortable riding.
Ather 450S does not come with smart features like maps, mobile app, live location, ride static, 4G connectivity etc as you can see in 450x. The 450S comes with 3 years warranty. Ather 450S comes in only one color which is grey.
With the 450S, Ather will compete with electric scooters like Ola S1 Air, TVS Iqube, Okaya Faast, Bajaj Chetak and with a few electric scooters with the same price and features.
