Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter Latest Updates
Ola S1 Air electric scooter keeping in view the needs of the people. Ola has launched its entry-level electric scooter, the S1 Air. The Ola S1 Air has more basic underpinnings and fewer ride modes than its more upmarket S1 and S1 Pro siblings. Despite these, it gets three riding modes- Eco, Normal, and Sports.
In eco mode it goe,s up to range oa f 101 km. Ola S1 Air is totallyng with equipped 2.5 kw battery pack. On the other hand the seat on th, the Ola S1 Air seat has been redesigned andbasic single-piece tubular grab handle. Storage space on this stands at 34 litres. As opposed to 36 litres on it’s more expensive siblings.
Ola S1 Air will come equipped with the MoveOS 3.0 software as standard, which will open up features such as hill-hold functionality, moods, different profiles that eliminate the need to share passcodes, and even proximity alert. This Ola S1 Air weighs 99 kg lighter than both Ola e-scooters.
Ola S1 Air also have rivals like TVS Iqube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ather 450X and other electric scooter in indian market.
Features
Ola S1 Air e-scooter features latest OTA update Geo-fencing. It gets music control system like faux motor sounds. The console of Ola S1 Air gets Bluetooth connectivity with Smartphone’s, WiFi connectivity and also features GPS navigation. If we talk about more digital features than it gets multiple ride profiles, reverse mode, anti-theft alarm, vacation mode, USB charging port, proximity unlock, ride moods and many more features.
Battery, Range and Motor
The Ola S1 Air is equipped with a hub-mounted motor making peak power of 4.5kW and a smaller 2.5kWh battery pack which takes 4 to 5 hours to get 0-100 percent fully charged. The Ola S1 Air gets three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sports. S1 Air figures endow with a claimed top speed of 90 kmph and a claimed range of 101 km in Eco mode and 76 km in Normal mode.
Display and Connectivity system
Firstly, the new Ola S1 Air will come with the 7-inches touchscreen TFT display as its more upmarket siblings and even gets reversing functionality. Its MoveOS 3.0 software will open up features such as hill-hold functionality, moods, to share passwords and alerts. In spite of this the scoter also has digital Speedometer, Odometer and Tripmeter. Ola S1 Air has also many more advanced features like Artificial sound, GPS & Navigation system, Anti-theft alarm, Mobile connectivity system, Music control, External speaker, Multiple profiles, Moods and sounds etc. Furthermore it has LED Headlight, Tail light and turn signal Lamp.
Brakes, Wheels and Suspension
Ola S1 Air electric scooter features a more conventional Telescopic front fork suspension and twin rear shock absorbers at rear for comfortable ride. Its braking hardware comprises a drum brakes at both ends. Its setup mounted on alloy wheels. Further, this new Ola S1 Air tips the scale at 99 kg, making it much lighter than Ola S1 Pro. Storage space on this stands at 34 litres, as opposed to 36 litres on its more expensive siblings.
